Key Responsibilities For The Staff Accountant
- Manage grant invoicing, billing, and collections for federal and state-funded programs
- Assist with month-end close activities and accounts receivable reconciliations
- Prepare financial reports, grant reports, and supporting documentation
- Support compliance with grant requirements and applicable regulations
- Assist with audit schedules and financial statement support
- Monitor grant budgets and program financial performance
Qualifications For The Staff Accountant
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
- 3+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a nonprofit environment
- Strong accounts receivable and general ledger experience
- Experience with grant accounting, reporting, and compliance preferred
