LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a client in Pleasanton, CA to fill a Staff Accountant role in a 100% in-office setting. The candidate should have 3+ years of accounting experience, with strong Accounts Payable and general accounting skills including journal entries and reconciliations.

Ideal candidates will be familiar with fixed assets, GAAP, and proficient in Microsoft Office. The position is temp to perm, with a pay rate of $34.00 to $38.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of accounting experience required.
• Degree in accounting or related field preferred.
• Experience with Great Plains/GP or Microsoft Dynamics is a plus.
• GAAP knowledge required.
• Strong accounts payable experience.
• Solid understanding of debits and credits.
• Reliable, deadline-driven, and team-oriented.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Proficient with Excel, Word, Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Handle accounts payable and general accounting tasks.
• Prepare and adjust journal entries; perform bank and GL reconciliations.
• Maintain knowledge of fixed assets and assist on additional duties and projects as assigned.

LHH Recruitment Solutions is working with one of our clients looking to fill a Staff Accountant job opportunity for the corporate office located in Pleasanton, CA. This position is 100% in-office and starts at 7:30am. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of accounting experience with expertise in accounts payable and general accounting including preparing and adjusting journal entries, bank reconciliations, GL account reconciliations, and knowledge and or experience with fixed assets, and assist on other duties and projects as assigned.

Qualifications for the job include:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Associates Degree in Accounting, Finance or related field is preferred
• Software experience with Great Plains (Microsoft Dynamics (GP) would be nice to have
• General Ledger experience (journal entries & account reconciliations)
• Strong Accounts Payable experience
• Solid knowledge of accounting knowing your debits and credits and general accounting (GAAP)
• Reliable, dedicated, and meets deadlines
• Team player, comfortable to work independently, and pleasant

• Detailed, a problem-solver, and organized
• Solid communications (written & verbal)

Pay Details: $34.00 to $38.00 per hour
