Job summary

Lee Hecht Harrison Nederland B.V. in Woodbury, NY seeks a Staff Accountant to work closely with the Accounting Manager and Controller. You’ll support all accounting operations across GAAP-compliant month-end close and reporting using Excel and the G/L system.

• General accounting; reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation
• Involvement in all month end close activities, ensuring strict GAAP compliance
• Utilizing Excel extensively for reporting purposes in addition to their G/L system
• Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

They are a $400 million, international business and growing their accounting team by hiring for a Staff Accountant position. You will work alongside the Accounting Manager and Controller of this international corporation and will be involved across their entire accounting operations. This is a great opportunity for an early career Accountant to grow and develop their skills. The company also offers a generous benefits plan that includes health insurance, a 401K with a match and a generous year-end bonus. This is a permanent position paying in the range of $70,000 - $80,000 in salary. They are working a hybrid schedule, 3 days in the office, 2 days from home.

Responsibilities include:

• General accounting; reconciliations, journal entries, financial statement preparation
