Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 1-2+ years of accounting experience in healthcare or related industry.
• CPA, CPA candidate, or parts of the CPA exam passed is a plus.
• Strong GAAP understanding and general accounting principles.
• Proficiency with Excel; experience with ERP or healthcare accounting systems is a plus.
• Analytical, organized, and capable of managing multiple priorities.

Responsibilities

• Assist with month-end and year-end close, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank, balance sheet accounts, and general ledger.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash management as needed.
• Analyze financial data and investigate variances.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Help maintain internal controls and identify process-improvement opportunities.
• Collaborate with finance and operations for accurate reporting.

A growing healthcare organization is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its accounting team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with 1-2+ years of accounting experience who is looking to continue developing their career in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. • Assist with the month-end and year-end close process, including preparing journal entries and account reconciliations.
• Reconcile bank accounts, balance sheet accounts, and the general ledger.
• Prepare supporting schedules and assist with monthly financial reporting.
• Support Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and cash management activities as needed.
• Analyze financial data and investigate account variances.
• Assist with audit preparation and provide documentation for external auditors.
• Help maintain strong internal controls and identify opportunities for process improvements.
• Collaborate with finance and operational teams to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
