Job summary

Bernatello’s Foods, a premium manufacturer and distributor of frozen pizza brands, is seeking a finance professional to ensure accurate invoicing, journal entries, and GL reconciliations at its Maple Lake, MN facility.

You will coordinate with distributors and internal teams, track rebates, manage data across multiple platforms, and prepare profitability reports. A strong Excel skillset and familiarity with Dynamics BC are preferred.

Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics Business Central preferred.
• Office environment experience preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills required.

Responsibilities

• Understand and support allocations by divisions, department, routes, brands and store groups across multiple platforms.
• Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating and posting journal entries.
• Prepare data for Broker/Distributor payments by tracking sales vs. promotional allowances and reclamation payments and deductions.
• Prepare documents and participate in year-end financial audits.
• Design and prepare profitability reporting for distributor and warehouse customers.
• Resolve promotional ad fees, scan backs and allowances by researching and forwarding to managers for approval.
• Track current customer accrual status by collecting rebate and incentive amounts vs. spend and payout.
• Work closely with peers to properly accrue and account for all activity Distributor related.
• Gather, organize, and oversee data across various platforms and inputs.

Description

This position is responsible for ensuring accurate financial information through invoicing, journal entries and general ledger account reconciliations. This position requires an individual who is resourceful, a good problem solver and well organized while assuring a steady workload in a timely manner.

JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

• Understand and support allocations by divisions, department, routes, brands and store groups across multiple platforms
• Maintain general ledger accounts by verifying, allocating and posting journal entries

Customer Relations – Distributors and Warehouse Division:

• Support customer accounting through pricing, invoicing, credit memos and journal entries
• Research and account for customer deductions
• Process EDI (Electronic Data Interface) transactions – incoming and outgoing
• EDI support with customers
• Provide customer service to Distributors and Sales Representatives with timely responses to inquiries
• Perform additional duties as necessary.
