Job summary

Sprenger Health Care is seeking a finance professional in Lorain, OH to perform monthly journal entries, reconcile general ledger and cash accounts, and assist cost reporting for Medicaid and Medicare. The role supports the development of financial statements and requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Accounting or Finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare journal entries on a monthly basis
• Assist with reconciling general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
• Assist with reconciling cash accounts
• Assist cost reporting for Medicaid and Medicare
• Assists in the development of financial statements
• Responsible for maintaining current knowledge of regulations, industry trends, current practices, and new developments regarding financials
