Job summary

Sprenger Health Care seeks a Regional Director of Operations to provide leadership across multiple facilities in Ohio and South Carolina. You will mentor facility leaders, drive regulatory compliance, improve resident satisfaction, and optimize clinical and financial performance.

The ideal candidate has a strong healthcare operations background, a track record of team development, and willingness to travel about 50% to supported communities.

Qualifications

• Current Nursing Home Administrator (NHA) license in OH or SC is required.
• Progressive leadership experience in healthcare operations.
• Multi-site management experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership, oversight, and operational support to assigned facilities.
• Partner with Executive Directors, Administrators, and department leaders to achieve operational, clinical, and financial goals.
• Monitor facility performance and implement strategies to improve quality outcomes and resident satisfaction.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
• Lead initiatives related to staffing, retention, employee engagement, and organizational culture.
• Analyze operational and financial reports, identify trends, and implement action plans.
• Support new facility acquisitions, transitions, and operational improvement projects as needed.
• Conduct routine site visits and maintain a visible presence within assigned communities.
• Develop and mentor facility leadership teams to drive accountability and professional growth.
• Collaborate with corporate departments to ensure consistent implementation of company policies and best practices.

Regional Director of Operations

Location: Ohio & South Carolina
Travel Requirement: Approximately 50% Travel

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Regional Director of Operations to provide operational leadership and support across multiple healthcare facilities in Ohio and South Carolina. The Regional Director of Operations will work closely with facility leadership teams to drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, enhance resident satisfaction, and achieve organizational goals.

The ideal candidate is a strategic leader with a strong background in long-term care, skilled nursing, assisted living, or healthcare operations management. This individual will be passionate about developing teams, improving processes, and delivering exceptional care and service.

• Strong knowledge of state and federal healthcare regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to travel approximately 50% of the time throughout Ohio and South Carolina
