What You’ll Do
- Support accounting activities across diverse corporate entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial records.
- Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, resolving discrepancies to maintain integrity.
- Process intercompany billings and assist with cross-entity cost allocations.
- Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Support consolidated financial reporting and elimination entries.
- Review balance sheet and income statement activities for accuracy.
- Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analyses.
- Maintain supporting documentation consistent with accounting standards, especially related to government contracting (FAR and CAS).
- Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to resolve accounting issues and support additional projects as needed.
Required Skills
- 2–4 years of professional corporate accounting experience.
- Strong background in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closes.
- Experience with multi-entity and intercompany transactions.
- Familiarity with ERP systems is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and government contracting accounting standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- High attention to detail and accuracy.
- Independent worker capable of prioritizing multiple tasks under deadlines.
Nice to Have Skills
- Experience with FAR and CAS requirements.
- Prior work in government contracting or GovCon environments.
- Advanced Excel skills.
- Strong understanding of budget, forecasting, and cash flow analysis.
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- 2–4 years of relevant professional experience, preferably in multi-entity settings.

- Prior ERP experience is a plus.
