Job summary

Frontline Source Group is seeking a Staff Accountant in Fort Worth, TX to help manage accounting across multiple entities in a government contracting setting. You will support month-end closes, intercompany reconciliations, and financial reporting with a detail-oriented team.

The role requires 2–4 years of corporate accounting experience, solid GL and intercompany skills, and proficiency in Excel. Experience with ERP systems and FAR/CAS knowledge are highly valued.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of professional corporate accounting experience.
• Strong background in general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and month-end closes.
• Experience with multi-entity and intercompany transactions.
• Familiarity with ERP systems is highly preferred.
• Knowledge of US GAAP and government contracting accounting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, formulas).
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Independent worker capable of prioritizing multiple tasks under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support accounting activities across diverse corporate entities, ensuring timely and accurate financial records.
• Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, resolving discrepancies to maintain integrity.
• Process intercompany billings and assist with cross-entity cost allocations.
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Support consolidated financial reporting and elimination entries.
• Review balance sheet and income statement activities for accuracy.
• Contribute to budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow analyses.
• Maintain supporting documentation consistent with accounting standards, especially related to government contracting (FAR and CAS).
• Collaborate with internal teams and leadership to resolve accounting issues and support additional projects as needed.
