The Staff Accountant will administer day-to-day radiologist compensation. This role also responsible for operational and corporate accounting duties across the organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Radiologist Compensation
- Administer radiologist compensation calculations and disbursements across all vRad entities.
- Collaborate with Physician Relations and Legal teams to ensure compliance with current compensation arrangements.
- Assist in the design, testing, and ongoing enhancement of internal software tools used for radiologist compensation and reporting.
- Oversee the 1099 preparation and filing process to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Operational Accounting
- Prepare payroll and benefit-related entries.
- Prepare credit card and expense reimbursement entries.
- Record ad hoc bank transactions as required.
- Serve as a backup for other team members as needed.
General Accounting
- Prepare internally developed software entries and collaborate with technology teams.
- Adhere to month end, quarter end and year end close calendar.
- Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis.
- Compile external audit requests.
- Prepare and update departmental procedure documents.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications/Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and one year related work experience.
- Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Word and Excel.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Workday ERP experience is beneficial but not required.
- Highly detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
