Job summary

Ledgent Finance & Accounting in Denver is partnering with an organization in search of a Staff or Senior Accountant to join their team.

This role works within a team of four, assisting with AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations, and supporting month-end close while collaborating on budgeting and vendor communications. A background in grant, fund, or nonprofit accounting is preferred; two days of remote work are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of nonprofit/grant/fund accounting experience.
• Post-secondary degree/education.
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail, able to juggle priorities across different environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with AP/AR, journal entries, and reconciliations.
• Support month-end close processes.
• Partner with finance and other departments on budgeting and vendor communications.

Accounting professionals: Denver ledgent has partnered with an organization in search of a Staff or Senior Accountant to add to their team!

This role will work within a team of 4, will assist with AP/AR, journal entries, reconciliations, month end close, etc. This individual will also partner closely with finance and other departments to help with budgeting, vendor contact, and helping to streamline processes. This role is requiring exposure to grant, fund, or nonprofit accounting and offers 2 days of work from home flexibility.

Requirements

• Post-secondary degree/education
• 2+ years of nonprofit/grant/fund accounting experience
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail - able to juggle priorities and different environments

Salary/Benefits: $33-36/hour ($70-75k annualized)
