Job summary

CFS in Daytona Beach, FL, seeks a Staff Accountant to join our finance team. You will contribute to revenue recognition, ASC 606 contract accounting, and monthly close processes within a dynamic, hybrid work environment.

You will prepare reconciliations, analyze variances, and support financial reporting while collaborating with cross-functional teams to improve processes and automate routine tasks. The role offers exposure to ERP systems and Workday, driving efficiency across the accounting

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field required.
• 1+ years of accounting experience required.
• Understanding of accounting principles and month-end close processes.
• Experience with ERP systems or process automation is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare account reconciliations and support monthly revenue close activities
• Assist with revenue recognition and contract accounting under ASC 606
• Prepare journal entries, analyze variances, and research discrepancies
• Support audit requests and financial reporting requirements
• Assist with process improvement, automation projects, and accounting system initiatives
