Delta Dallas is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its growing accounting team in Dallas. This early-career role offers exposure to general accounting, financial reporting, reconciliations, revenue and treasury activities, under seasoned professionals.

You'll build a strong foundation by supporting month-end closes, preparing journal entries, and maintaining GAAP-compliant records while collaborating across departments. A CPA path is encouraged as you grow with us.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting is required.
• 1–2 years of accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and financial reporting.
• CPA candidate encouraged; CPA preferred.
• Oil & Gas experience is a plus.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Responsabilidades

• Support the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities.
• Prepare and record monthly revenue and other accounting transactions.
• Assist with monthly financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations.
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual flux analyses.
• Assist with daily treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and cash transactions.
• Prepare and process various deposits and related accounting activity.
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to ensure accurate recording.
• Maintain complete financial records in accordance with GAAP.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Support the Senior Accountant with day-to-day accounting activities
• Prepare and record monthly revenue and other accounting transactions
• Assist with monthly financial statements, journal entries, and general ledger reconciliations
• Research and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual flux analyses
• Assist with daily treasury reporting, cash forecasting, and cash transactions
• Prepare and process various deposits and related accounting activity
• Collaborate with teams across the organization to gather information and ensure transactions are accurately recorded
• Maintain complete and accurate financial records in accordance with GAAP
• Gain exposure to the company’s various business operations and legal entities

What We’re Looking For

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
• 1–2 years of accounting experience
• Strong and current understanding of GAAP
• CPA or actively working toward CPA preferred
• Oil & Gas experience is a plus, but not required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
