Responsibilities

  • Support the Senior Accountant responsible for the Land and Resource Management segment of the business.
  • Prepare and record monthly surface, lease, easement, and material sales revenue (SLEM).
  • Participate in the preparation of monthly financial statements, general ledger account reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Review, investigate and resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities as they arise.
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual flux analyses.
  • Prepare daily Treasury reporting.
  • Assist in daily cash forecasting and transactions.
  • Prepare oil and gas royalty and SLEM related cash deposits.
  • Develop relationships across the organization to facilitate information sharing and proper accounting for transactions.
  • Maintain complete and accurate financial records in compliance with GAAP.
  • Familiarize oneself with the company’s legal entities and overall business.

Staff Accountant, Land Accounting & Treasury

Reporting Relationships


Reports to Senior Accountant, Land Accounting & Treasury


Key Responsibilities



  • Support the Senior Accountant responsible for the Land and Resource Management segment of the business.
