Job summary

CooperDouglas is partnering with a fast-growing manufacturing company in the Inland Empire to hire a Staff Accountant. This role offers exposure to multi-entity environment and opportunities to grow with the company.

You will support month-end close, account reconciliations, inventory and cost accounting, fixed assets, and intercompany reporting while helping improve processes as the company scales.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance.
• Big 4 public accounting or manufacturing industry experience.
• Solid understanding of GAAP, accruals, and account reconciliations.
• Ambitious and motivated, with a desire to grow your career with the company.
• Detail oriented, organized, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Support the month-end and year-end close, including journal entries, accruals, and prepaids
• Prepare and review balance sheet account reconciliations
• Support inventory and cost accounting activity for a manufacturing operation
• Assist with fixed asset tracking and depreciation
• Support AP and AR as needed, including reviewing coding and resolving discrepancies
• Help with intercompany activity and reporting back to the parent company
• Prepare schedules and support for the annual audit
• Look for ways to improve and standardize processes as the company grows
