Job summary

CFS is seeking a Staff Accountant to contribute across reporting, forecasting, budgeting, and detailed financial analysis. Onboarding leads to a hybrid work model, combining in-office collaboration with flexible scheduling.

The role emphasizes hands-on experience in accounting and finance, partnering with leadership that promotes from within, and a stable organization capable of navigating economic cycles. CPA is a plus but not required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
• Experience in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, or general accounting preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills with strong analytical and reporting capabilities.
• CPA certification or active pursuit of CPA designation is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain financial reports, analyses, and budgeting support schedules.
• Review and analyze general ledger transactions and account activity to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Perform monthly account reconciliations, reviews, and variance analysis.
• Participate in annual budgeting and forecasting processes across the organization.
• Develop and maintain advanced Excel-based reporting and analytical tools.
• Serve as a financial liaison to departments by supporting business needs and financial initiatives.
