Job summary

Harmony Senior Services is seeking a full-time Staff Accountant in Roanoke, VA. The role supports ledgers, reports and budgeting while collaborating with finance and development teams. Strong communication and detail orientation are required.

Qualifications

• A minimum of 3 years accounting/finance experience.

• Strong general ledger and analytical/problem-solving abilities.

This position will be working with other accountants, finance professionals and development team members to assist with preparation, maintenance and review of financial ledgers and reports as well as assist with annual budgeting and assistance with the audit process.The ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience in accounting . Must be able to produce timely and accurate deliverables as required. Detailed, timely and accurate work is expected. Need to possess good judgment and be able to work equally well with co-workers and outside vendors. The successful candidate will have strong communication skills both verbally and in writing.
