Qualifications

• Proficiency in MS Excel and common accounting software.
• Experience with 3-way match, reconciliations, accruals, invoicing, and journal entries.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct 3-way match to ensure invoice accuracy.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile discrepancies by analyzing account information.

• Assist in budgets and forecasts.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles and practices, with a knack for working with numbers. This role will play an instrumental part in our financial operations, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in our financial reporting and compliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling a variety of accounting tasks, including 3 Way Match, Reconcile, Accruals, Invoicing, Entries, and more. This is a permanent position requiring a minimum of 5+ years of experience in a similar role.

Job Details

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries, and bank reconciliation.
• Conduct 3 Way Match processes to ensure the accuracy of invoices and purchase orders.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information.
• Manage and process accruals and prepayments, ensuring accurate reflection in the financial statements.
• Handle the invoicing process, ensuring timely and accurate billing.
• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring the accuracy of information.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts.
• Collaborate with the finance team to improve financial processes and controls.
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
• Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5+ years of experience in an accounting or finance role.
• In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.
• Proficiency in accounting software, Microsoft Office Suite, particularly MS Excel.
• Experience with 3 Way Match, Reconcile, Accruals, Invoicing, Entries.
• Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• CPA certification or progress toward certification is highly preferred.
