  • Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, ensuring timely and accurate transactions.
  • Assist in preparing financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
  • Conduct variance analysis for budgets versus actuals and provide actionable insights to management.
  • Ensure compliance with tax reporting and other regulatory requirements.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including account reconciliations and reporting.
  • Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and recommend corrective actions.
  • Assist with financial audits by preparing documentation and coordinating responses with auditors.
  • Participate in cross-training initiatives to support other areas of general accounting, ensuring flexibility across all accounting functions.

Requirements:

  • 3 years of Staff Accountant experience in a similar role.
  • Experience with process creation, documentation, and improvement a bonus.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency, including experience with VLOOKUPs, INDEX, SUMIFs, IF statements, and pivot tables for data analysis and reporting.
  • ERP system experience (NetSuite is a plus, but not required), with the ability to learn and adapt quickly to new systems.

Essential Competencies:

  • Adaptability and Flexibility: Comfortable working in a dynamic environment with undefined processes and able to pivot as needed.
  • Process-Oriented Mindset: Ability to independently build, document, and refine accounting processes to improve efficiency.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy, ensuring financial records are precise and discrepancies are identified quickly.
  • Self-Driven and Proactive: Takes ownership of tasks and delivers high-quality results with minimal supervision.
  • Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Capable of addressing challenges and developing effective solutions in an evolving environment.

What We Offer:

  • Onsite work environment with occasional work-from-home flexibility, fostering collaboration and relationship building with peers, cross-functional partners, and leadership.
  • The stability and resources of an industry-leading company successfully operating for 25 years, with the agility and innovation of a startup, allowing you to make a significant impact and shape our future.
  • Growth & Development – Each team member has a visible and immediate impact on the business, offering abundant opportunities for personal and professional growth as we scale in size and sophistication.
  • Healthcare plans that include health/dental/vision insurance, 401K Plan, company-paid life insurance and short-term disability, flexible spending account options, and more.
