Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking an accountant to support multiple hotel portfolios. This full-time role is based at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA. The position involves AP processing, vendor reconciliations, weekly check batches, ACH postings, and tax return preparation for centralized properties.

Valor Hospitality Partners is seeking an accountant with experience supporting multiple hotel portfolios. This full-time position is based at our corporate office in Atlanta, GA

• Assist properties with invoice entry, vendor statement reconciliation and accounts payable questions when needed
• Process weekly check batches for all properties in portfolio utilizing third-party payment processor or in-house issued checks
• Assist with the posting of ACH payments into accounting system for centralized properties
• Assist with the compilation of weekly cash snapshots
• Assist properties with invoice entry, vendor statement reconciliation and accounts payable questions when needed
• Process weekly check batches for all properties in portfolio utilizing third-party payment processor or in-house issued checks
• Work with our properties and accounting system vendor to issue annual 1099 forms for all properties in portfolio
• Assist with preparation of monthly and quarterly sales and use tax and lodging tax returns
• Assist properties with balancing daily income journal.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills required.
• Must be knowledgeable in accounts payable, income journal reconciliation and basic accounting tasks and entries
• Handle administrative tasks of the accounting department including, but not limited to, accounting system and third party processing user maintenance, payment processor property setup, file maintenance and auditing
• Experience with multiple hotel/ restaurant software a plus.
