Job summary

STV, Inc. is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team in a hybrid role (3 days in office). The position is based in Douglassville, PA and supports monthly close processes.

The candidate should have a bachelor's degree in accounting with preferred experience in the A/E/C industry and familiarity with Power BI. Strong communication and the ability to learn quickly are essential.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue.
• Prepare reports for monthly reporting package.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations per accounting policies and procedures.
• Assist with maintaining financial records for managed joint ventures.
• Post journal entries, cash applications, invoice postings and vendor maintenance.

Job description

STV is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office) in our office located in Douglassville, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue.
• Prepares reports for monthly reporting package.
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Works with Manager to maintain the financial records of managed joint ventures.
• Assists with various accounting tasks including posting journal entries, cash application, invoice posting, and vendor maintenance and validation.
• Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
• Participates in annual audits and special projects.
• Work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor's degree in an accounting
• Highly preferred experience within the A/E/C industry
• Experience with Power BI preferred

Compensation Range

$58,480.63 - $66,835.00
