Job summary

STV is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team in Douglassville, PA. This is a hybrid (3 days in office) role designed to support monthly close processes and financial reporting.

You will prepare reports for the monthly package, perform balance sheet reconciliations, and assist with journal entries, cash application, and vendor maintenance. Collaboration with managers and external auditors is required to ensure accurate records and timely audits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting required.
• Experience in the A/E/C industry preferred.
• Experience with Power BI is preferred.
• Excellent communication and adaptability are essential.

Job description

STV is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our corporate accounting team. This position is designated as hybrid (3 days week/in office) in our office located in Douglassville, PA.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensures the accurate compilation, analysis and reporting of accounting data and revenue.
• Prepares reports for monthly reporting package.
• Prepares balance sheet reconciliations in accordance with accounting policies and procedures.
• Works with Manager to maintain the financial records of managed joint ventures.
• Assists with various accounting tasks including posting journal entries, cash application, invoice posting, and vendor maintenance and validation.
• Ensures integration of data produced into systems and supports objectives of financial analysts.
• Participates in annual audits and special projects.
• Work with external consultants or auditors to provide required information and ensure proper recordkeeping for historical purposes.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree in an accounting
• Highly preferred experience within the A/E/C industry
• Experience with Power BI preferred
• Excellent communication
• The flexibility to constantly learn and adapt

Compensation Range

$58,480.63 - $66,835.00
