Job summary

CFS Staffing in Akron is seeking a Staff Accountant to own accounts payable from invoice entry through payment preparation, while supporting month-end accounting activities. This role also covers construction and CIP accounting, tenant-rebillable expenses, GL reconciliations, accruals, and audit support.

You’ll work within a close-knit accounting team, gain exposure to multiple properties, live hands-on month-end close, and benefit from hybrid flexibility—work from home several days each week.

Qualifications

• 1-2+ years of accounts payable or general accounting experience.
• Associate or bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.

Responsibilities

• Manage invoice coding, processing, approvals, and payment preparation.
• Process construction and CIP invoices, including AIA pay applications, lien waivers, and retainage.
• Track tenant-rebillable expenses including CAM/NNN and other property-related charges.
• Maintain vendor documentation and assist with vendor setup and changes.

Position Overview (Staff Accountant)
