Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline.
• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience in a professional environment.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, reconciliations, and close processes.
• Advanced Excel skills with pivot tables, lookups, data analysis.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems such as SAP, Oracle, NetSuite or similar platforms preferred.
• Demonstrated analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Self-motivated professional capable of working independently and managing multiple priorities.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accurate, reliable work.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
• Prepare and review journal entries, balance sheet reconciliations, accruals, and supporting documentation.
• Evaluate general ledger activity and investigate variances or unusual accounting transactions.
• Generate financial reports, reporting packages, and ad hoc analyses for management.
• Ensure accounting records are GAAP-compliant and aligned with internal policies.
• Collaborate with departments across the organization to obtain financial data and address accounting-related issues.
• Support day-to-day accounting functions (AP/AR, fixed assets, and prepaid expenses).
• Participate in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Recommend and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and strengthen internal controls.
• Assist with audit requests and prepare supporting schedules for internal and external auditors.
