Job summary

ASM Global in Colorado is seeking a hands-on IT/ POS support technician to provide Level 1–2 POS support for MyVenue POS systems and related hardware across Ball Arena, DSGP, and Paramount venues. You will deploy, configure, and tear down POS terminals, manage inventory, and assist with event readiness before, during, and after events.

The role requires an Associate degree and experience with Active Directory, multiple POS platforms, and hardware like printers and handheld devices.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate will have a minimum of an Associate degree.
• Experience with Active Directory.
• Experience with POS, including MyVenue POS, SpotOn, Triple Seat and Tapin2, Mashkin self checkouts, LAVA, and handhelds.
• Knowledge in CAT5/6 crimping in different cable configurations.
• Solid analytical and problem-solving skills; ability to organize, manage, and complete multiple tasks; strong verbal and written communication.
• Possess effective communication skills; working knowledge of Microsoft applications; ability to lift at least 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Provide level 1 & 2 support to all point-of-sale system problems and escalate when necessary.
• Initiates and implement improvements to areas of responsibility.
• Conduct stadium walk-through to ensure all systems are operational prior to and during all events.
• Replacement of defective hardware before, during and after events.
• Diagnosis of software, firmware & hardware errors and breakage.
• Support additional technologies in use in the building: timeclock, printers, laptops, ipads, handhelds and menu screens.
• Log and return out of date or faulty inventory.
• Maintain a thorough knowledge of the organization and adheres to all standards and practices.
