Job summary

Producers Rice in Stuttgart, AR is seeking a full-time Stacker - Packing to support our packaging line. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with overtime as needed including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities include maintaining quality packaging, stacking products, wrapping, applying stickers, and basic sanitation. Applicants must be able to lift up to 110 pounds, stand 8–10 hours, climb 4 feet, and wear PPE as required.

Qualifications

• Must possess basic math skills.
• Must be willing and able to lift and stack up to 110 pounds throughout the day.
• Must be willing and able to stand for 8-10 hours a day.
• Must be willing and able to climb 4 feet off the ground.
• Must be willing and able to bend, stoop, push, pull, twist, and turn throughout the day.
• Must be willing to tolerate working in hot and cold temperatures for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing to stand and/or walk for extended periods of time.
• Must be willing and able to wear required PPE.

Responsibilities

• Maintaining quality product (insure counts, product appearance of packaged products) before, during and after packaging.
• Manually stacking product in required formation and wrapping packaged product and manually placing appropriate sticker(s).
• Hand Packaging of product into ballers, cases and display boxes.
• General sanitation activities (dry cleaning, sweeping, blowing, etc.).
