Job summary

Packaging Corporation of America is seeking a production team member to prepare machines for production runs, keep equipment clean, and ensure paper pads and materials are ready for the line. You will monitor runs, report issues, and help maintain product quality and timely shipping.

The role requires basic math, attention to safety around machinery, and flexibility to work overtime. Qualified applicants will have a High School Diploma or GED, a track record of stable work over the past year,

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Able to read and comprehend schedules and orders.
• Willing to work overtime on short notice, including weekends.
• Able to work in a manufacturing environment with varying temperatures and forklift traffic.
• Verifiable work history in the past 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the machine for production runs according to the customer order.
• Clean the machine daily.
• Order pads from the forklift driver as scheduled.
• Ensure pads are available at the machine for finished products.
• Monitor running orders and communicate problems to operators and management as needed.
• Prepare products for shipping per shop card.
• May feed the machine as required.
• Operate with various production machines and basic tools.
