Job summary

Riceland Foods in Stuttgart, AR is seeking a General Utility Person to support packaging and palletizing operations. Expect 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM shifts with potential extended daily and weekend work; a 15% shift premium applies for hours 5 PM–6 AM on weekdays and 5 PM Friday–6 AM Monday.

Responsibilities include hand stacking, operating pallet jack and bale stackers, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while following pack orders.

Qualifications

• Must read, write and follow instructions with basic math skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow pack orders.
• Able to lift up to 60 lbs and work standing for long shifts.
• Must wear required safety gear and maintain clean work area.
• Physical stamina for repetitive palletizing tasks.

Responsibilities

• Hand palletizing/stacking of product bales per pattern.
• Report quality issues to supervisor immediately.
• Inspect bales for proper labels and seals.
• Keep work area clean and manage spills.
• Operate pallet jack as needed.
• Start/stop assigned equipment; operate robotic bale stacker.
• Load rolls of bale material onto baling machine.
• Cross train to operate packing machines.
• Set date codes on packing lines; assist operator.
• Participate in other duties as assigned by supervisor.
