Job summary

Bachoco USA in Fort Smith, AR is hiring for 2nd Shift – Slaughter Plant. You will support production by setting up and tearing down workstations, moving cases, labeling, and stacking pallets while meeting safety and quality standards.

This safety‑sensitive role requires long periods standing, heavy lifting up to 50 pounds, and exposure to wet conditions. We offer competitive wages at $16.50 per hour, 401K and medical benefits, paid holidays, vacation after 90 days, and a mentorship program.

Shift Hours: 4:50 p.m. to EOS

Pay Rate: $ 16.50 per hour

Assist in the production of quality food products by performing the following duties as applicable to a specific task or department. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to: Set-up/tear-down workstation & line as required; bring pallets to line; verify pallet is in good condition and meets company requirements; apply pallet sheet as applicable; stack cases of product on pallet to meet customer and/or company specification; tape any cases that were not taped during normal process; assist manifestor with labels on cases as needed; verify all cases of product have appropriate labels; wrap full pallets; uses a hand or power jack to move product away from the line after proper PIE training as required and based on production needs; and maintain work area in a safe and sanitary manner. Production workers are required to stand for a period of time, walk, and reach with hands and/or arms. The team member must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 POUNDS. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions; moving mechanical parts; fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; toxic or caustic chemicals; outside weather conditions and extreme heat. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
