Job summary

Lincoln Motor Company is seeking a quality engineer to lead supplier process containment and QR performance improvements in a manufacturing setting. You will drive root-cause analysis with critical suppliers, participate in PRT meetings, and coordinate containment actions for repetitive issues.

You will collaborate with QA and STA teams, present materials to senior leadership on timelines, and help ensure data accuracy for QR/PPM processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science / Engineering or equivalent technical aptitude.
• 2+ years of Plant Manufacturing experience.
• Ability to develop and present materials to senior leadership with short timelines.

Responsibilities

• Lead Critical Supplier Process to improve QR performance.
• Participate in Whiteboard reviews and PRT meetings; drive resolution of external supplier 3MIS, 1MIS, and 0MIS warranty concerns.
• Support QR procedures, assist IQ with non-responsive suppliers, and help ensure QR/PPM data accuracy.
• Coordinate part quality confirmation for repetitive containment failures.
• Lead containment of -1MIS and 0MIS SIMPSN & BSAQ projects; drive root cause analyses with critical suppliers.
• Engage with STA Site team on Stop Shipments; track vehicle On-Hold and Release processes.
• Support Daily Plant Quality Meetings to report containment of supplier warranty issues; prepare for PQRs.
