Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, business administration, or related field.
• 3+ years of progressive HR experience.
• Experience with employee relations, benefits administration, leave management, and HR compliance.
• Experience administering HRIS; ADP experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of federal and state employment laws.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office.
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance to employees and managers regarding workplace concerns, policy interpretation, attendance, and corrective action.
• Conduct employee investigations and support resolution of employee relations matters.
• Promote employee engagement, retention, and workplace culture initiatives.
• Support compensation programs, salary administration, and pay equity analysis.
• Administer employee benefits programs and serve as a resource for benefits-related questions.
• Coordinate open enrollment, employee eligibility changes, and vendor communications.
• Manage leave of absence administration, including FMLA, ADA accommodations, return-to-work processes, and related compliance requirements.
• Support retirement plan administration and employee education initiatives.
• Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with laws.
• Assist with policy administration, handbook updates, audits, and reporting requirements.
• Manage workers' compensation claims, OSHA recordkeeping, and incident reporting.
• Support onboarding, HR communications, and employee documentation processes.
• Develop HR metrics and reports to support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Identify opportunities to streamline processes and HR technology initiatives.
