Responsibilities

• Schedule and create invitations for 504 meetings with school staff and parents.
• Chair 504 meetings and prepare minutes.
• Provide final 504 Accommodation Plan and meeting minutes to parents and staff.
• File all related paperwork and maintain a comprehensive spreadsheet of the entire 504 population.
• Create e-files for all documentation and distribute to appropriate parties.
• Notify staff of student qualification status within 24 hours.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule and create invitations for 504 meetings with school staff and parents including initial, annual and transitional
• Chair 504 meetings and prepare minutes
• Provide final 504 Accommodation Plan and meeting minutes to parents and staff within 2 weeks of the meeting
• File all related paperwork and maintain a comprehensive spreadsheet of the entire 504 population
• Create e-files for all documentation and distribute to appropriate parties(parents, teachers, school nurse, office staff)
• Notify Data Secretary, Special Education Secretary and Main Office 504 staff within 24 hours of when a student qualifies or no longer qualifies for a 504 plan
