Job summary

Tech Mahindra is seeking a Test Technician 2 to join the US FPT lab team in Longmont. You will actively support SSD hardware bring-up, firmware validation readiness, and lab operations, ensuring test systems are configured, inventory is tracked, and issues are resolved quickly.

This hands-on role requires direct interaction with SSD hardware and lab assets in an on-site setting. You will work with firmware, validation, and operations teams to execute test plans, document results, and drive

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with PC/server hardware build, config, and troubleshooting.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware and test environments.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux command-line and scripting basics.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills in lab setting.

Responsibilities

• Support SSD hardware bring-up, configuration, and validation readiness.
• Build and maintain NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems and lab infrastructure.
• Execute test plans, follow procedures, and document results clearly.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, and connectivity issues to restore lab readiness.
• Capture diagnostics and summarize data for engineering analysis.
• Manage lab inventory, asset tracking, and hardware check-in/out.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving and internal movement of hardware components.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align with project schedules.
