Job summary

Zenith Infotek LLC is seeking a Test Technician 2 to support SSD hardware bring-up, validation readiness, and lab operations in the US lab. You will configure and maintain test systems, track hardware, and ensure timely execution of test plans in a hands-on engineering environment.

The role emphasizes troubleshooting across hardware, software, and firmware, with strong documentation of results and proactive communication of risks.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PC/server hardware.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware, storage platforms, or system-level test environments.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux command-line environments.
• Basic scripting in Shell or Python is preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel for inventory tracking, reporting, and data organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support SSD hardware bring-up, configuration, validation readiness, and ongoing maintenance for project-specific platforms.
• Build, configure, modify, and maintain NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems, hosts, debug systems, and supporting lab infrastructure.
• Execute defined test plans, procedures, pre-flight checks, and system validation steps with attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, power, and system setup issues to restore lab readiness.
• Capture and summarize diagnostic data, logs, and debug details to support engineering analysis.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, and tracking of SSD and other hardware components.
• Collaborate with engineering, validation, facilities, IT, and operations to support lab activities and schedules.
• Support rack allocation, space, power, and equipment readiness for lab planning.
• Communicate task status, risks, blockers, and dependencies clearly to the team.
• Identify efficiency improvements through automation, scripting, and documentation.
