Job summary

OTSI(Object Technology Solutions, Inc) is seeking a TestTechnician 2 for our Longmont, CO lab. The role focuses on SSD hardware bring-up, test execution, and lab readiness in a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will work with firmware, validation, and operations teams to configure test systems, track hardware, resolve issues, and maintain efficient lab processes on site. Hardware-focused, detail-oriented, and independent workers will thrive here.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PC/server hardware systems.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware or storage platforms.
• Ability to execute test plans and summarize results accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, firmware, and system setup.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux CLI.
• Basic scripting in Shell or Python preferred.
• Proficient in Excel for inventory, reporting, and data organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Independent worker using procedures and technical documentation.
• Experience in SSD/storage lab environments is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Support SSD hardware bring-up, configuration, validation readiness, and lab operations.
• Collaborate with firmware, validation, platform, facilities, IT, and operations teams.
• Provide onsite lab support, handle inventory, and manage shipping/receiving duties.
