Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, and maintaining PC/server hardware systems.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware or storage platforms.
• Ability to execute test plans and summarize results accurately.
• Strong troubleshooting across hardware, software, firmware, and system setup.
• Familiarity with Unix/Linux CLI.
• Basic scripting in Shell or Python preferred.
• Proficient in Excel for inventory, reporting, and data organization.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Major Responsibilities

• looking for a Lab Technician to support SSD hardware bring-up,firmware validation readiness, and lab operations within the US FPT lab team.In this role, you will help enable successful SSD validation programs by ensuring test systems are properly configured, hardware is available andtracked, issues are resolved quickly, and lab activities stay aligned withproject schedules.
• This is a hands-on technical role in a fast-paced engineering labenvironment. You will work closely with firmware, validation, platform,facilities, IT/infrastructure, and operations teams to support new hardwarebring-up, test execution, system debug, inventory management, and continuousimprovement of lab processes.
• This role requires onsite lab support and direct interaction with SSDhardware, test systems, lab inventory, and shipping/receiving activities.Remote or hybrid work is not supported for this role due to the nature of laboperations and hardware readiness requirements.

Qualifications and Experience

• Hands-on experience building, configuring, troubleshooting, andmaintaining PC/server-based hardware systems.
• Experience with NVMe/PCIe SSD hardware, storage platforms, orsystem-level test environments.
• Ability to execute test plans, follow written procedures, andsummarize results accurately.

• Experience with automation, diagnostic tools, log collection, oranalyzer tools is a plus.
• The ideal candidate enjoys solving technical problems, workingdirectly with hardware, documenting results clearly, and contributing to areliable and scalable lab environment.
• Support SSD hardware bring-up, configuration, validation readiness,and ongoing maintenance for project-specific platforms.
• Build, configure, modify, and maintain NVMe/PCIe SSD test systems,hosts, debug systems, and supporting lab infrastructure.
• Execute defined test plans, manual procedures, pre-flight checks, andsystem validation steps with strong attention to detail.
• Troubleshoot hardware, software, firmware, connectivity, power, andsystem-level setup issues to restore lab readiness.
• Capture and summarize diagnostic data, logs, failure observations, anddebug details to support engineering analysis.
• Manage lab inventory, asset tracking, hardware reuse,check-in/check-out processes, and project-specific hardware availability.
• Coordinate shipping, receiving, internal movement, and tracking of SSDand non-SSD hardware components.
