Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer to lead the lifecycle of cross-functional projects and manage facility infrastructure for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and initiatives. You will work with customers and internal/external teams to ensure on-time delivery, while monitoring budgets and milestones.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree.
3+ years of program or project management experience.
Ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned project.
Partner with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
Manage project budget and approve all purchase orders.
Travel up to 80%.
