Job summary

Amazon.com Services LLC is seeking a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer to lead end-to-end testing and readiness for new facility launches, retrofits, and expansions. You will manage cross-functional teams across Launch, IT, Startup, Engineering, and Operations to validate configurations and drive go-live readiness.

Responsibilities include coordinating milestones, mitigating risks, and ensuring adherence to standards while traveling up to 80% domestically.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree and 3+ years of professional experience in a related field.
Experience leading cross-functional teams across engineering, operations, and field execution through launch readiness and go-live phases.
Ability to build launch readiness frameworks and scalable deployment procedures for multiple sites.

Responsibilities

Own end-to-end testing and validation of site configurations for new launches and retrofits.
Partner with Launch, IT, Startup, Engineering, and Operations to set priorities and milestones.
Identify gaps and risks and drive solutions to mitigate impact on timelines and cost.
Lead execution to validate systems, equipment, and automated processes per standards.
Monitor testing progress and report milestones affecting site readiness.
Develop scalable processes to improve readiness and reduce defects.
Build strong relationships with cross-functional stakeholders for timely handover.
Identify process improvements to raise quality for launches.
Travel up to 80% domestically, including multi-week blocks.
