Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Sub Same Day (SSD) Operations Engineer to lead the lifecycle of complex cross-functional projects, focusing on facility infrastructure for new builds, retrofits, expansions, and program initiatives.

You will collaborate with customers and internal/external teams to meet milestones, monitor progress, and mitigate risks, while managing budgets and purchase orders. Expect up to 80% travel across multiple sites in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 3+ years of program or project management experience.
• Ability to travel up to 80%.

Responsibilities

• Plan, direct, supervise and control the execution of all business, technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the assigned project.
• Partner with customers and internal/external teams to ensure timelines and deliverables are met.
• Monitor and report on the progress of all project activity including significant milestones and conditions which would affect project cost or schedule.
• Solve ambiguous problems and proactively identify and mitigate risks before they become roadblocks.
• Manage project budget and approve all purchase orders.
