Job summary

Planned Parenthood of Greater New York is seeking a Patient Care Assistant to join a multidisciplinary medical team. The PCA handles patient intake at the front desk, collects demographic and billing information, and provides education on sexual and reproductive health.

You will support scheduling, triage calls, manage the visit flow, assist in SRH services, document in the electronic health record, and ensure a welcoming, private waiting area.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience with electronic health records preferred.
• BLS certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and collect demographic and billing information.
• Maintain front desk and waiting area to be welcoming and professional.
• Assist with scheduling, phone triage, and visit flow.
• Support patient intake and medical history documentation in EHR.
• Provide patient education on sexual and reproductive health.
