Job summary

The Surgical Reproductive Health Center Assistant (SRHCA) at PPSP provides front-line service, greeting patients and visitors, verifying insurance, collecting payments, and explaining anticipated costs during visits.

In a fast-paced, team-based setting, SRHCA assists physicians in the procedure room, performs basic lab tasks, documents in EMR, delivers counseling on birth control and pregnancy options, and supports post-procedure care with clear, respectful communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of two years of customer service experience.
• Ability to document patient responses and maintain records clearly.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and visitors; register patients; verify insurance; collect co-pays and payments.
• Assist in surgical procedures; prepare/clean equipment; monitor vital signs and discharge patients.
• Perform basic lab tasks and document results; enter data into EMR; provide patient counseling on birth control and pregnancy options.
