Job summary

NC Department of Adult Correction seeks an SRG Lieutenant III to manage daily SRG operations and lead the intelligence team. You will coordinate security, gather intel, and oversee investigations within the facility.

The role requires experience with SRG populations, discretion in reporting, and adherence to policy. Eligible candidates must meet certification standards and pass screenings as part of the application process.

Qualifications

• Experience with Security Risk Group (SRG) populations and intel.
• Knowledge of discipline and rehabilitation methods for offenders.
• Familiarity with emergency response procedures and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Oversee SRG operations and supervise the Intelligence Team (SRGIO).
• Maintain accumulative information on SRG activities and risks.
• Provide security, intelligence gathering, and incident handling at the facility level.
• Oversee SRG-related investigations and monitor program progress.
• Coordinate with Division of Institutions and facility leadership daily.
