Okta is seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to lead a high-impact SRE team focused on scalable reliability across our platform. You will drive cross-functional initiatives, participate in 24/7 on-call rotations, and champion observability and automation to minimize toil.

You will mentor engineers, contribute to architectural reviews, and help shape strategic direction with a emphasis on data-driven decisions.

Qualifications

3+ years of hands-on team leadership in SRE or software engineering.
8+ years total industry experience.
Deep expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and infrastructure as code (Terraform).
Strong programming skills in Go or Python.
Data-driven mindset with blameless incident response.
Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written.
Proven ability to build and lead high-performing, globally distributed teams.
Strategic vision with technical depth and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

Lead the SRE team's technical direction and roadmaps.
Participate in 24/7 on-call rotations and troubleshoot incidents.
Design monitoring, alerting, and automation to reduce toil and raise reliability.
