Job summary

Okta is seeking a Manager, Site Reliability Engineer to lead the SRE team, shape technical direction, and drive reliability at scale across cloud-native platforms. You will own on-call rotations, design and implement monitoring, alerting, and automation to reduce toil and improve operability.

You will mentor engineers, participate in architectural reviews, and ensure observability and resilience are embedded in all engineering work.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of total industry experience in software or SRE.
• 3+ years of hands-on leadership in SRE or software engineering.
• Expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and IaC (Terraform).
• Proficient in Go or Python and building production-grade tools.

Responsibilities

• Lead the SRE team's technical direction, translating vision into actionable roadmaps across product and platform teams.
• Operate at scale with 24/7 on-call rotations, troubleshooting incidents on critical systems.
