Job summary

Delinea is seeking a hands-on Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the SRE and DevOps engineers supporting Delinea products. This working manager role requires you to lead people and work, review automation, and guide incident response across AKS and Azure/AWS.

Initial scope covers Platform SRE and DevOps; growth into FedRAMP High and broader Commercial Platform is expected. You will manage a blended team across time zones and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

6+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Operations.
2+ years of direct people leadership, including performance management and hiring.
Hands-on production experience with Azure Kubernetes Service and core Azure services.
Hands-on experience across both Azure and AWS.
Deep observability expertise with metrics, logs, traces, SLOs and alerts.
Proven incident command; able to coordinate responders and communicate updates.
Strong cloud networking and security fundamentals.
Automation and scripting (PowerShell, Python, Bash) and IaC experience.
Experience with multi-region, multi-tenant SaaS architectures.
Excellent written communication and cross-time-zone collaboration.
Willingness to work across time zones and participate in on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

Lead hands-on; review PRs, validate pipelines, tune monitors, and troubleshoot production issues.
Own availability and performance of Delinea Platform in Azure and AWS environments.
Manage a blended team of SREs and contractors; hire, onboard, and set expectations.
Lead distributed team communications via one-on-ones, standups, and planning.
Participate in on-call; act as incident commander for Sev1/Sev2 events.
Direct end-to-end incident response: detection, triage, mitigation, RCA, and actions.
Raise observability bar with SLI/SLO, alert quality, and dashboards.
Support FedRAMP and regulated operations; grow into government environments.
Reduce toil via automation; convert repeat work to code.
Report incident health metrics and drive concrete improvement plans.
