Job summary

Delinea is seeking a hands-on Manager of Site Reliability Engineering to lead the SRE and DevOps engineers supporting Delinea products. This is a working manager role focused on people and work ownership across Azure and AWS environments, with on-call responsibilities and cross-zone coordination.

You will guide platform reliability, observability, and incident response as the team expands to FedRAMP High and broader Commercial Platform capabilities.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or Cloud Operations, with demonstrated ownership of production SaaS systems.
• 2+ years of direct people leadership, including performance management, hiring, and coaching; experience managing contractors is desired.
• Hands-on production experience with the Delinea technology stack, including AKS, core Azure services (SQL, Redis, Service Bus, Blob Storage), AWS services (SES, EC2, RDS), WAF, Azure DevOps pipelines, Datadog, and Atlassian Jira Service Management.

Responsibilities

• Lead hands-on: review PRs, validate pipeline changes, tune monitors and dashboards, run Datadog queries, and troubleshoot production issues with engineers.
• Own availability and performance of Delinea Platform production environments across Azure and AWS (AKS, networking, data services, messaging, CDN/WAF).
• Manage a blended team: hire, onboard, coach full-time SRE engineers; direct contractors with scoped work and quality expectations.
• Lead a distributed team across time zones with meetings at appropriate hours and participate in on-call rotations.
• Carry pager as incident commander for Sev1/Sev2, coordinate responders, and communicate updates until resolution.
• Own end-to-end incident response: detection, triage, mitigation, RCA, preventive actions with owners and dates.
• Raise observability: define SLI/SLO, alerts, synthetic coverage, APM instrumentation, log hygiene and dashboards.
• Support FedRAMP/regulatory operations and expand to broader platforms over time.
• Reduce toil via automation; prioritize automation backlog alongside reliability work.
• Report operational health: present incident metrics and improvement plans to leadership.
