Job summary

Delinea is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer to join our Cloud Engineering team. You will own the availability and performance of production SaaS services in Azure and AWS, including the FedRAMP High environment.

This hands-on role focuses on measuring reliability, tuning detection, incident response, and reducing manual toil for engineers. You will define SLIs/SLOs, build robust monitoring, automate responses, and participate in on-call rotations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, cloud ops, or production engineering for a SaaS product.

Responsibilities

• Own reliability for a set of production SaaS services end to end: availability, performance, and capacity.
• Define SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets; prioritize reliability work with eng and product teams.
• Build and tune monitoring in Datadog and Azure Monitor with thresholds, composites, and anomaly detection.
• Automate response and wire monitors into remediation workflows; replace runbooks with code.
• Participate in on‑call rotation; lead incident response for high‑severity events.
• Write post‑incident reviews and customer-facing root cause analyses; drive preventive actions.
• Work support escalations: diagnose from logs, traces, and network captures; route with evidence.
• Build and maintain infrastructure as code with Terraform and Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Administer the web application firewall: tuning, rate limiting, triage, coordination with security.
• Own the cost of observability: Datadog indexing, retention, and log ingestion decisions.
• Operate within FedRAMP High environment; contribute to runbooks and SOPs.
• Improve on-call processes: rotation design, escalation paths, alert quality, handoff between regions.
• Partner with Support, Security, Product, and Development to ensure monitoring, runbooks, and SLOs for new services.
