Job summary

Bitdeer Technologies Group is seeking an L1 NOC/Data Center Operations technician to monitor and respond to incidents in NeoCloud's US GPU data centers during 8AM–8PM PST shifts. You will follow SOPs, escalate complex cases, and provide ground truth data to the platform for automation.

Responsibilities include monitoring GPU cluster health, network and storage status, performing hardware triage, executing remediation, collecting diagnostics, logging incidents in ServiceNow/Jira, and coordinating

Qualifications

• 2+ years in NOC, data center operations, or IT support.
• Basic Linux system administration (command line, logs).
• Familiarity with monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Nagios or equivalent).
• Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira Service Management).
• Ability to perform physical data center tasks: rack and stack, cabling, hardware replacement.
• Strong communication for shift handoffs, incident docs, and escalation.
• Ability to work 8AM–8PM PST shift (12-hour shifts with rotation).
• Curiosity about automation; observe recurring issues and suggest improvements.

Responsibilities

• Monitor GPU cluster health, network status, storage systems, and environmental sensors.
• Respond to alerts and execute runbooks for common incidents.
• Perform hardware triage: identify failed GPUs, NICs, PSUs, disks, and cables.
• Execute remediation: GPU reset, node drain/reboot, link re-seat, BMC recovery.
• Collect diagnostic data for escalation: logs, DCGM output, network diagnostics.
• Manage incident tickets from creation through resolution or escalation.
• Perform physical DC tasks: rack and stack, cabling, hardware replacement.
• Provide structured handoffs at 8AM and 8PM PST with APAC operations.
• Keep runbooks up-to-date based on recurring issues.
• Assist with hardware deployment and inventory under SME guidance.
• Tag and describe incidents for AIOps to learn from; improve automation footprint.
