MACHINE LEARNING TECHNOLOGIES LLC is seeking an experienced Site Reliability Engineer to advance observability, monitoring, logging, and tracing capabilities for our telecom-focused platform. The role emphasizes hands-on work with OpenTelemetry, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger, and OpenSearch/ELK, plus scripting and CI/CD automation.

Qualifications

• Experience as SRE/Platform Engineer focusing on observability, monitoring, logging, tracing and alerting.
• Hands-on skills with OTEL, Prometheus, Grafana, Jaeger and OpenSearch/ELK.
• Proficient in Python, Bash or Shell scripting for automation.
• Experience building monitoring dashboards, logging, distributed tracing, and alerting solutions.
• Experience with CI/CD tooling and cloud-native observability (GCP).

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain monitoring and observability solutions.
• Build dashboards and configure alerts for health of apps and infrastructure.
• Implement centralized logging and distributed tracing.
• Use OpenTelemetry to improve system visibility.
• Develop automation scripts in Python and shell.
• Support proactive monitoring and RCAs for incidents.
• Integrate monitoring tools into CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and perform root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering to improve reliability and performance.
