Job summary

Ontrac Solutions is seeking an experienced Observability / Site Reliability Engineer to design, scale, and maintain enterprise monitoring and alerting systems across multi-cloud environments. You will bridge development and operations, ensuring high availability, performance tuning, and deep visibility.

You will implement and optimize observability pipelines using Grafana, Prometheus, and GCP tools, automate infrastructure with Terraform and Ansible, and integrate CI/CD workflows in Kubernetes,

Qualifications

Experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) environments.
Hands-on with Grafana, Prometheus, and Google Cloud Observability suites.
Linux/Unix administration and shell scripting for automation.
Programming in Python, Go, Java, Perl, or advanced Shell.
Container orchestration with Kubernetes, GKE, OpenShift.

Responsibilities

Architect observability frameworks across cloud environments (GCP).
Design and maintain observability stacks with Prometheus and Grafana.
Drive IaC with Terraform and Ansible for automated deployments.
Integrate CI/CD in Kubernetes, GKE, or OpenShift pipelines.
Analyze system performance across distributed environments.
Establish SLIs, SLOs, and error budgets for reliability.
